Landian and Religious Old Guy

The shop owner was looking for a partner in business when he met this guy named landian during the time he has no shop yet. Landian owns already a carwash and painting shop in laspinas. He then went to the shop to see how it was going. Then the two talked about the terms and conditions one condition the owner said was "We are the ones who improved this land". landian then said to the owner "If you want an improvement this is not an improvement". Landian told the owner "We can make this shop a painting but I will be the owner". The owner then asked how much his salary or his comission is. Landian never answered back. Landian even gave a sermon about business. The owner just said "This won't work if you can't even tell me at least how much is my salary or my commission Anyway I will decline this because I don't want to be demoted". Landian left the shop after that.

Religious old Guy
He then found this old guy named religious old guy. He was so kind giving tools equipment and many others. In their shop before they open they even have a bible study everyday. When the business was about to grow, the body repair shop near them called the owner up. The owner called then the religious old guy to go to the body repair shop. The owner then followed watching the mechanic of religious old guy. The next week came the owner was surprised because he didn't knew religious old guy went to the body repair shop to fix a vehicle. The owner decided to let them go because of what happen. The owner noticed he was the one being left out in the profit because religious old guy is really not that religious after all. His religion probably is money, money and money only. He is just using his religious beliefs every time there is a situation or problem he is undergoing. Religious old guy was even caught promoting in the owner's street which the owner doesn't do in the shop of religious old guy.
The owner is still looking for a partner but this time the partner doesn't have any business yet nor a place to put up a business. This is to be sure both of them are true partners in the business. The partner he is looking for loves racing and not a fuck chi nor korean shit.

A Pinoy Being Pushed in his Very Own Land
A Pinoy and Non Pinoy Transaction

It started when my friend entered my vehicle in this shop. They specialize in Japanese vehicles like Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota and many other Japanese vehicles. My friend was excited to see how will he build it. It was also his dream to have a performance shop just like he has and how big is his shop as well.

Months Came
It took awhile for the engine to arrive as well as the papers and mount. While waiting for the papers to arrive it was around December he asked through text what bracket can be use no one replied. He called up during the said morning since he knows he is in the office at that time and he also called up in the afternoon but no one answered. He still tried and tried but no one answered.

The Year 2010
He then went to see the vehicle its still there it dusty and all but he does understand it stayed too long in the shop. One employee approached to him saying "The parent's owner is so mad because you didn't bought it". The employee even added "Didn't you receive any letter?" My friend then answered "No what letter is it?"The employee said "They shouldn't be talking to you now. My advice is you better avoid him. His anger is way different."The meetingThey had the meeting a week after. He was saying his parent was angry which he kept on repeating and repeating. He even said "I shouldn't even talking to you because I am already talking to my lawyer."My friend still apologize for it and admitted his mistakes. He then said "I already have the cost it is in the other shop I will just email it to you". So my friend waited and when he received the email it was only a couple of days before the deadline. My friend tried to pay for it and he also tried to lower the price but to no avail. He wanted it the same as is. He even said it "I've given it to my lawyer".

Friends' Advice
His other friends told him it can still be battled in court because there is no contract and the fee was too late to be received but he doesn't want to go to that long route anyhow. It may also bring bad luck in their business anyway.

Remembered Something
He then remembered his other friend who is rushing a shirt in Manila. He needs it so badly for his project but the owner who is a Filipino-Chinese refuses. His better half tried it the owner then agreed.

My opinion
In my opinion I can't believe someone would say something like that especially our very own fellow Filipino. Yes he did give a warning to my friend during their talk and all but from the way he spoke to my friend it was a surprising blow. If other people would experience this he too will felt like he is the owner of the shop and he will not like it as well. He is just making it more confusing. He can't believe the owner is bringing it to the authorities and it is a crime now.If you happen to be in this kind of transaction between a non pinoy or any foreigner better make sure it is safe and transparent. It is better if the owner is your fellow nationality they will still get angry but would give you chances and consideration unlike this person who is on a different nationality which he stood his ground because he has power but still will end up a bad feedback. I believe his dad and himself wouldn't be angry if the nationality is the same as his. This is one kind of discrimination as far as I can see.He just forfeited the vehicle and gave it to them. He also knew he will also tell it to his friends and other club members about it. Both of them really made a mistake so it means both should apologize.
The end of it only my friend apologize for it and I believe my friend will rise back up again and will be a history and experience in his life.

Tall Guy,Boy Negro and Stunned Guy

It was almost the last month of March.It was monday and the owner arrived around 7:45am when he saw the shop was still closed.He opened the shop and made ready the things he needs for the shop when Boy negro arrived around 8am with the new worker.Boy negro's reason was "I went to get the key and look for who wants to work in the shop."The owner just answered "You can simply do that in Sunday not during monday so that you won't be so late."Boy negro didn't give another answer after that.

Next Day

The next day came same thing happened this time with Tall guy.All of them arrived 8am and at the same time as well.Boy negro's reason this time was "I didn't took a bath just to arrive here". The owner even thought "Are these guys married? There like waiting in the corner some where and arrived all at the same time." The owner just said "Boy negro you're reason is so lame that it can make any boss laugh and guess what all of you will be undertime since you all arrive all at the same time late."The owner even remembered when he asked boy negro last week boy negro's answer was "We arrived here around 6am sir."

It clearly shows that the more boy negro's reason the more he is wrong and deepening his lying to the owner.In the end the owner just made a sermon about being on time.The owner even said that "it is understandable to be late but not 2 hours of being late since all of you are just near the shop and it will just take you less than 30 minutes or so."

The Three Continues to Reason

It's now the month of March it rained finally but for only a few minutes.

Happily Married Applies But never Cameback

Someone applied for work in the shop.The owner and happily married discuss the rules and conditions in the shop.During that saturday happily married told some stories on his previous work.He said that he worked for 4 years and became even a manager of the shop.Then the salary was discussed he has a salary and at the same time a percentage on every full detailing of the vehicle.The owner gave an advance for almost a week of his salary. When monday came he was late he arrived around 9am in the shop so they cleaned all the vehicles.During the night the owner said that he has a free rice in the shop.When it was closing time happily married said "I forgot to bring pillow I will go home and comeback the next day." When next day came he never came back.He said through a phone call made by the owner happily married just said "My son is sick I might be back by next week". but never cameback.The owner waited but happily married never cameback bringing the advance he took for almost 4 days.

Lost but not found

When tall guy was cleaning the vehicle he lost the brush.He admitted and said he will replaced it.The owner next week asked him about the brush that he lost if he has already bought one.Tall guy just said "I haven't bought it yet".Until now the brush is still not yet being replaced by tall guy.

The Seat Situation

It was the third week of March.The owner was sitting and fell asleep for just a few minutes.When the owner got up and he saw tall guy was not in his seat anymore.He called up boy negro.When boy negro was there the owner even said "Sit there were there is no sun". When they were cleaning one vehicle.The owner saw the scratches the seat has.The reason of boy negro is "Sir the seat flipped over I don't know what happened" Tall guy's reason was "It's not my fault".He added the roof of a house can easily be destroyed because of a wind then how come this plastic chair." When the owner said "It's impossible it's your fault tall guy because you are the one who left the seat near the office.You didn't put it back where it belong." In the end no one admitted who is at fault but according to the owner the one who left the chair is the one who is at fault.

Finger Nail of Boy Negro

It was later afternoon of March when the owner saw his finger nails that look like the finger nails of a woman.He then said to boy negro "Trim your nails you'll end up scratching a vehicle".When the next day came while waiting for a customer.The owner saw one finger nail of boy negro wasn't trimmed.Boy negro just made a reason saying "Its just one finger".The owner replied "Ok its just one finger so can you pay 2,500 pesos for every panel you scratch a vehicle?I doubt it you can pay that much if so then be my guess." Boy negro didn't reply after that.

First day ran out of money

During that first day tall guy said through boy negro "sir tall guy doesn't have money to go home".It was the first day of the week and he ran out of money already.The owner just said 'I'll give it later before we all go home."

Its really amazing how an owner can easily see the truth even if they are not admitting it nor saying anything about it.The more they reason the more they lie about it.More things to come probably next week or maybe next month.

The Story, The Scheme and Changes

It's February as the shop slows down a bit so does the workers.Its alright and understandable from the owner because its not raining.Here is some incidents that happen during the month of February.

The Scheme
Tall guy and his fellow worker asked for an advance.The owner gave it first to tall guy.The owner even said "You can go home now".Tall guy answered "sir my fellow worker might need to buy something".So the owner gave the advance to the other worker as well.The two went to the nearby canteen.The owner went home but he went first to the nearby gas station to buy something.The owner went back to the shop just to see how is doing.The owner was suprised from what he saw.Tall guy went back to the nearby canteen when he saw the vehicle of the owner. The owner then went to the shop and asked "Is tall guy already went home?" He answered "yes sir he already went home".The owner just went home and seeing that there is a scheme going on with this two.The owner remembered last week as well when the owner goes home by himself.The two workers goes to the nearby canteen but when the owner is not alone.Tall guy goes home immediately while sometimes his other worker goes to the nearby canteen to buy something.One common word tall guy always say to his fellow worker before he goes home is that "Are you going to buy something?I can buy it for you".Eventhough there is a nearby supermarket in the shop.

Fiesta Rice
The owner saw one day that the rice is full in the rice cooker during that one morning.At first the cooked rice was only 1/2 but as the days gone by it changed.The owner even heard "Lets eat there is still rice left".The owner even remembered the worker demanded more rice.Although the worker understands on how many rice that worker can eat he still gave in to the demand.

Vandalized

The owner continues to ask tall guy if he had already ask the temporary workers he sent if they are the one who wrote in the chair.Tall guy didn't answer.The owner said "Give your suggestions on how we can erase those names in the chairs."The two didn't gave an answer.When one day the owner made a move.Since no one admitted who wrote this I'll be getting the tip because no one suggested anyway.The two workers reacted.The owner reacted as well and said "I already gave you enough time to think about it; now that I already thought of something now you are complaining."All of them debated but no one still admitted who wrote in the chair.The owner just said "My friends said if no one admitted who wrote the chair it is better every worker is at fault.You gave me no choice over this situation". The owner also realized the limit of tall guy's concern.He also realized that tall guy is covering up something because it is way impossible he didn't see who wrote in the chair.One customer even said that those chairs cost around 1,000 pesos each.

Don't touch that drum
There was a delivery of water one day in the shop but the drum wasn't full enough so the owner said to the two "Don't use that drum it is not yet full." When the owner came back from the house to change vehicle.Tall guy said "sir I used the drum just one wheel".The owner said "Can you predict how much water you use in the drum?" Tall guy just said the same thing again "I just use one wheel for that drum."The owner even caught weird guy getting water from the same drum.

Weird Guy
Tall guy's new co worker is the weird guy.How weird? Everytime the owner instructs him he forgets if not just does the other way around. One day the owner instructed him to clean where the drum was placed to avoid insects underneath the drum instead of throwing the water underneath the drum.Weird guy threw the water in the drum. Getting Forgetful Usually when night came and it was closing time the owner helps to put back everything in the shop from the extension cord,covering the pressure washer and closing the gate of the shop.As weird guy and tall guy goes home the owner double check the shop he saw the padlock wasn't lock enough. Samething next day one fusebox was not turned off.

The owner is continuing to experience more and more we can never tell when will it stop.People change for some in the good way but for some on a bad way.

The Three Musketeers
Launghing Boy,Boy Negro & Tall Guy

It started when the owner hired boy negro & tall guy after sandoman left during December.He then instructed them what to do and not what to do. During the last week of December another one applied.The owner interviewed him and talked about his salary and was clear to him. He then started his job the next day.He was quiet at first and getting to know his fellow workers.Then after quite sometime he kepts on launghing even from the smallest things.

Accident Happened
When the owner arrived in during the first week of January.Launghing boy lifted the back of the van and hit the wood of the spoiler of the van.The cost was around 26k.After the owner of the vehicle left launghing boy even said "Thats a good new year to him". The owner luckily convinced the owner of the vehicle to bring it to a different shop to have the spoiler repaired and brought down the price to 2,500. After the next day launghing boy is still launghing like nothing happened.

Vandalized Chair
The owner was sitting around one day he saw the chair was vandalized and the name written was the nick name of launghing boy.He then asked the two who did it.They just denied it that they didn't do it.The owner said to then "The next time this happen no matter you deny or reason for it the two of you will erase it or your salary will be lessen or better buy the brand new chair to replace it." After a couple of weeks it happened again.When launghing boy cameback launghing boy even laughed at it.Until now no one is admitting it.The owner just said to them "I find it funny because the one has a nerve to write in the chair but he is a scared in admitting it."He even added "Does the one who wrote it maybe has a crush on him."

Lazy Launghing Boy
As the days gone by the owner observed that launghing boy is taking too much time in cleaning a vehicle.The owner confronted launghing boy and just answered aggressively he is just being careful.For the owner he is just reasoning out.He even saw launghing boy running around the shop but once there is a customer he is like a an aged person.

The owner is experiencing more and more as the days gone by.The lazy launghing boy already went to a different job.Boy negro got also lazy.Now the owner has a new worker and tall guy is doing very well in the shop.

Enough is Enough

Enough is Enough
The Last Stand of Sandoman

It was the usual day when I arrived.He was cleaning a vehicle.He then approached me saying he has a emergency to go to but he'll be back at 5pm.I then let him go eventhough the vehicle wasn't finished.Luckily their was two new workers that arrived.One was a former worker of mine while the other was his cousin. When it was 5pm he didn't arrived.I ask the better half if he is coming back.She just answered me "I don't know where he went".I then let one stay in the shop. The next day came and he was their.When night time came he then told me he has a emergency to go too again.He'll be back by monday.

Unbelieveable Saturday

When it was saturday I was sitting in the shop while waiting for customers to arrive.When a customer arrived I saw sandoman getting dress already so I figured he just went to sleep in the shop.I then said to him "I thought you'll be back on monday".He didn't gave me an answer but later answered me "I just went to get the key of the shop".I said "We'll handle the shop I'll gave him the key of the shop" and went on to his emergency.

Suprising Sunday

I went to the shop to fill the drum with water.When I arrived I saw the gate doesn't have a padlock.He then said to me with an aggressive expression "My clothes are here how can I get change my clothes".I then asked how did you open the gate then?" He answered "I found the key".I didn't gave him permission to open the gate and he didn't even said he is coming back by Sunday. When then argued and he said to me with an aggressive expression "I've been here long enough don't you trust me".I just made my stand saying "I decided to give the key to the new worker because you are coming back by Monday". He then quit the job but it took a couple of days before he went back to the shop to get the rest of his clothes.When he was getting his clothes he even said "I'm not going to steal anything".When he left he was saying to the new workers "he is not a good owner".One new worker even said "What he (sandoman) did was wrong he is even trespassing the shop."

My Opinion

I understand his emergency but some situation like how he answered me back was so disrespectful.When arguement comes he is like a child with a high blood state of mind.Anyone can easily say like in a calm way "sir I have an emergency to go to but don't worry I'll be back." If you know this kind of a worker don't even bother letting him work in your shop.He is not a team worker he just wants to take over everything.

Another News from Sandoman

It started a couple of weeks ago.I went to the body repair shop to check my friend's car.When I cameback sandoman was pacing back and forth near the office.When I went outside he was gone.I waited and saw him coming from the body repair shop.I later knew he was looking that I might said something to the owner of the body repair shop.

Next Week Came
It was another day again.When I arrived there was a finished car a Honda Civic 1.8 S.I check the whole car and found out some were not cleaned very well.So I then cleaned it inside and out.While I was cleaning I heard sandoman saying "He is cleaning that car for 2 hours already." It didn't bother for me at first.When I cleaned the interior sandoman passed by and said aggresively "The customer had put armor all".

The Next Day Came

A lot of customers came but only one by one.I checked every car that day.When I was cleaning a Mitsubishi Strada I over heard again coming from Sandoman saying to his other co worker "Those plastic will fade from cleaning".When afternoon came I over heard that sandoman had a problem.It came into my mind that it was karma that arrived to him.I was doing my job in cleaning the whole car.

Around Nightime

It was almost nightime I said to his other worker that there was a tip given by the customer.He said to me "Sandoman said there was no tip".Later sandoman go angry like there is no tomorrow and said to me "It was not 50 pesos.I answered I just said "There was a tip I didn't say it was 50 pesos".Then sandoman mentions back "It was not 50 pesos".

Sandoman Experience

Its been a couple of months and here is another experience from the shop just recently.Here are some of the things I observe and my experience from sandoman.The true side and his other side.

Doing Good
The good he does good work in the job but sometimes he is using too much materials.It's like you are just interacting with the client then you'll see him using a car shampoo for the matting of a vehicle.Sometimes when he feels like helping he will help but with a cause and the bad he will get all the tip.

Getting All of It
There was a customer back then he wanted to remove scratch in the door.The scratch was lessen.I then call his co worker to remove a bird sap in the hood.Then sandoman grabs the work instead of his other co worker does it for him.The tip all goes to sandoman.

Bragging About It
Once he is angry from something he would brag about it by telling it to other people who is around or in the area.He is not the calm down person thats why he is always in a hurry so try to imagine him falling in line waiting which I don't think he can't wait that long.

Cornered
Once sandoman is cornered he would just say like a child "I don't want to work here anymore" or would just get angry from a different situation just to get away with it.Lets take an example of the situation where he said "sir my sister is just sleeping because she is tired from work".When I look at his so called sister he is not even close looking like him.After awhile once I started letting the girl leave because she is not a worker in the shop.He would say those child like words "She is my girl friend I'll get my salary and I'll leave".Usually the shop closes at 9pm but sandoman said he has a problem in the family and he will go home at sunday morning.When we arrive at around 9 Sunday morning in the shop to get an umbrella.The two his girlfriend and sandoman is not even dress yet to go home.It later came into my mind that they won't go home.The water and electricity will be often used because they are staying in the shop without paying the water and the electricity.

Sensitive
He is way too sensitive even just a simple command he would look like he doesn't want to follow it.If you are experiencing what I am experiencing better start looking for some new worker because this kind of people doesn't want a co worker only him and just him.If he doesn't follow your instructions stand by your case or replace him.

My Own Shop Experience
From Workers to Clients

How my shop started

It started when I wanted to have a shop since I had a little budget I started a carwash and auto-detailing first in Alabang.I bought a pressure washer,4 drums,sprayer,vacumm cleaner and other chemicals for carwash and auto-detailing.

Workers

I started first with one carwash boy he was slow and looked always exhausted.I then replaced him with a better one.I found this carwash boy named Earl when I was having a hair cut in a barber shop in Las Pinas.The barber told me he knows someone who is a carwash boy.He was a trained carwash boy.He always follow what I tell him.He was so generous even the tip he received he will show it and give it to me which I gave it back to him.He is gifted because he easily picked up what I am letting him do.Everytime I go to the barber shop he always ask me "how is my cousin doing? Is he giving you a hard time just say it and I will say it to him".As months passby I then let him try the buffing machine.He quickly got what I wanted him to do.I always appreciate what he has done.He then left and got married.His other co worker which is a detailer I also replaced because of the way he doesn't want to follow what I told him and he doesn't want to lower the prices of some detailing work.

The Sandoman Worker

He is a skilled worker and he always want to wear his favorite sando eventhough it is not a gym or a wrestling match that he needs to wear a sando.He often likes to go to the other stores just to look for someone to talk too.He doesn't like to sit around.He is always active too active like he is in a hurry always on the rush.He even feels like he is the owner in the shop.He is always fond of reasoning out in any situation if there is something wrong I see in the shop or in a situation.As the months passby he changed the way I want instructed him to wash the car.The worst of it everytime I arrive if not me I let my other worker carry the things like the coleman jug,detailing materials,etc while he is sitting or just sleeping in the shop.

Encounter with the client

There was a customer who had his vehicle wash and wax.He added to remove the water mark in the body.Sandoman went on to remove it using rubbing compound.After using the buffing machine it took off the paint.Luckily the owner of the vehicle didn't got angry but from the looks of the owner he is disappointed. The two of us argued about it once the client was gone.The owner said "The paint won't be removed if you didn't use too much rubbing compound.We even had one customer before which we removed water spots in the hood and the paint never went off like that." Sandoman answered "Sir the pad is already thin and I never want that to happen Sandoman stood by his case but the owner stood by his case as well.

The Future

I want to have a shop to be bigger and cater on the left side performance like putting turbos,engine swap,fabrication work like putting roll cages etc in general make the shop a race car factory shop.The right side carwash and auto detailing.I also want to sell vehicles locally from Japan and United States.

Tip Experience

It happened a couple of days ago.The client gave the payment and I saw the client had a 50 pesos.The client put it in his pocket and later gave it to sandoman. The next day he asked thinman(a worker) if he received already the tip.Thinman said "yes sir I got it it was 20 pesos". The owner remembered it was 50 pesos. Today My shop is doing great.Sandoman continues to work in the shop he is doing good in his work but once there is a tip he wants 70% of the tip while the other worker is 30% thats why I kept replacing his co worker.When I arrived in the shop one day I saw a someone sleeping in the shop. I then asked sandoman.He answered "Its just my sibling sleeping". When lunchtime came I just said "Let your sibling go home it is not allowed someone sleeping in this shop who is not working at all and not an employee of this shop". He answered back "She is my girlfriend I'll just get my salary if you let her go home".The good part while I am still looking for a carwash boy I just let him and his gf stay in the shop.Suprisingly sandoman change.He started helping me carry the things,clean the vacumm cleaner,clean the shop etc.For now I am still looking for two carwash boy this time one for stay in one for stay out.I know he is telling it to his other friends in the street about it that I couldn't replaced him thats why I'm writing this article as well.

Tip for who wants to have a carwash business

Here are some of my tip based on my experience as a shop owner.1. Have a long patience - if you feel they are pissing you off write an article or blog.Think positive.2. Gossip - if you're worker always talks to other people outside your shop be ready for the gossip and don't mind those gossip.3. Carwash boy - keep looking for a carwash boy for back up.You'll never know when they will leave you.Have a agreement and bio data with picture put their full address in the bio data.Give incentives to them sometimes especially if you see them doing a good job.4. Dont train them - don't train them in those popular detailing products.Teach them in the shop so that once they leave you they know how to do it but not trained by those popular detailing products.

Two Guys and a Lady

It started when I met this person his name was Karlo. He went out to join his newly found friends. He then met this lady named Joanna. Joanna was shy at first and was pretty. The other friends where discussing about their love life while the two of them started talking like what school they went, where do they work and many more.
Karlo then started to text and sometimes call Joanna every week. Karlo talked about his experiences in love, being religious, family problems and many more. Joanna even blamed Karlo for his mistakes in life.
As they were getting along Karlo made a mistake that made Joanna angry but later forgave Karlo .Then a couple of weeks came he lessens the text to Joanna just to give space and probably not to have any pressure to her.

Along Came Mak

There was a get together again from the group of friends in a mall. Mak who wants to be included in the newly found friends also joined. There were these two ladies one was Joanna while the other named Gj. The two then left after awhile to buy something.
He then said to the other people who were there that he really like this girl named Joanna. He find Joanna pretty.
Little does Mak know Karlo also like Joanna and made Karlo a bit worried.

Date of the two Karlo and Joanna and Texting Again

Karlo and Joanna dated a couple of times. There was a time that Karlo gave Joanna chocolates. One was during their meet up with the group of friends the other was during a dinner date.Karlo then slowly started texting Joanna again like "how's work? and how are you?"
Karlo and Joanna talked one day but not that serious one just about life. Joanna then said to Karlo thru text that
"I got a gift from Mak and we even took a picture with the gift."
Karlo then said to Joanna "Don't you know Mak likes you he said it while the two of you where gone looking for something." Joanna didn't reply from the text.
The last text during that night that Karlo received from Joanna was
"You can court that crush of yours from now on and sorry but I don't want to talk about it nice meeting you"

The Day Has Come

After a couple of weeks Joanna decided to finally let Mak become his boyfriend who continues to give Joanna several gifts like chocolates, flowers and many more almost every week. Joanna even texted Karlo about Mak. Joanna even said "I will finally have a boyfriend." Karlo then told it to his group of friends and he was surprised from what Joanna said to him.
Karlo was so hurt and cried especially at night because he really like Joanna and he was serious in pursuing her. He believes they were getting along already and remembered her line saying “I want to know the person one day at a time”. He knew he is slow in courting Joanna because that’s how it’s supposed to be unlike Mak like there is no tomorrow in giving gifts.

Karlo's Message

He already had the experience that happened a couple of years back that he liked someone and ended up losing the girl because of some rivalry. Karlo is also afraid that it will be influenced by someone..Karlo's message to Joanna is just simple "It’s not about giving all the gifts or what you want most it’s who you are going to be with and seeing most of the time that matters."

After the grosume from the tale of two workers heres more where it came from.This is the updated situation and tale of the owner.

How he cheats his competitors
The owner's friend saw it the first time.He saw the 20 pesos that was given to sandoman he put it in his pocket and never gave the half to thinman.The owner saw the samething sandoman quickly puts the tip in his pocket but this time gave just 5 pesos to his fellow worker.There was this incident that the owner saw while the customer is leaving that a tip was given to sandoman and sandoman just sat in his chair like no one saw he has a tip.

Sandoman's Scheme
Another incident happen a couple of days ago.Thinman was absent that day.Sandoman and the owner started to clean the vehicle.After cleaning the vehicle the client went to get her vehicle.The client paid while the owner was washing his hands due to the tire black.sandoman and the client gave a tip.The owner didn't saw how much because sandoman was covering it so that he can have all the tip.The other incident happen the same thing a starex finished cleaning sandoman then went to clean the dashboard.The owner also went to see it.Sandoman did cover it again but this time with the door and as soon as the owner approached the client sandoman close the door immediately.

What the owner does now
After being a victim of the sandoman's scheme the owner made a tip box and everytime there is a client who is about to pay he tells them "Sir just put it in this box".The next thing happened sandoman got angry like there is no tomorrow with the owner has done by making a tip box saying how we will eat and drink coffee and other reasons.
Long way before the sandoman applied work he asked if the tip is centralized.
The owner doubts in the next meeting they will admit mistakes and faults just like in the first meeting where a lot of reasons was mentioned and it only came to a close when the owner gave up arguing with them.

The Misdventures of the Two Workers

We all have our own problems from work,office and at home. Lets take an example this owner with his two workers lets name the first worker as sandoman. He is a skilled worker and he always want to wear his favorite sando eventhough it is not a gym or a wrestling match that he needs to wear a sando.He often likes to go to the other stores just to look for someone to talk too.He doesn't like to sit around.He is always active too active like he is in a hurry always on the rush.He even feels like he is the owner in the shop.
The next is thin man who wants to buy his favorite cigarette.He is always being pushed around by sandoman probably because sandoman has muscles eventhough sandoman is sometimes wrong in his decision.He is slow but accurate in cleaning the vehicle.He also likes to sleep a lot.

Encounter with the client and owner
There was a customer who had his vehicle wash and wax.He added to remove the water mark in the body.Sandoman went on to remove it using rubbing compound.After using the buffing machine it took off the paint.Luckily the owner of the vehicle didn't got angry but from the looks of the owner he is disappointed.
The owner and worker argued about it once the client was gone.The owner said
"The paint won't be removed if you didn't use too much rubbing compound.We even had one customer before which we removed water spots in the hood and the paint never went off like that."
Sandoman answered
"Sir the pad is already thin and I never want that to happen
Sandoman stood by his case but the owner stood by his case as well.

Something Fishy Going on
It was nightime while the owner is sitting outside the shop.He saw a guy from the body repair shop before they were just chatting but a couple of days past it seems sandoman and the body repair shop person he is going often to him. Everytime the owner was about to go near them he left like he is afraid of something.

Tip is still not centralized
It happened a couple of days ago.The client gave the owner the payment.The owner saw the client had a 50 pesos.The client put it in his pocket and later gave it to sandoman. The next day the owner asked thinman if he received already the tip.Thinman said "yes sir I got it it was 20 pesos". The owner remembered it was 50 pesos.

Using Water Too Much
Sandoman went to the shop to wash his face after that he went to go outside again.After a couple of hours he washed again his face using water.The next hour he washed his feet using water.The owner reacted already because he saw he was using too much water.The owner even said
"I saw you using water 3 times already two times in your face and one time in your feet.You will take a bath later anyway."
Sandoman answered
"I was just washing my feet thats all."
The owner stood by his case and sandoman never answered he just mentioned it to thinman.
Everytime weekend sandoman and thinman takes a bath.The day before that thinman already took a bath and he is not a stay in in the shop.
Thinman just reasoned out that he will share the water with sandoman but clearly it didn't happen.Sandoman went to get water.

The Owner's Action and Reaction
The owner did one time just to see how they will react he received the tip from one of the customer and it was 20 pesos. He put it in the collection. When it was time to give it to them.The owner saw it how they reacted.They reacted just as the owner thought.It came into his mind that during the time of the 10 pesos 5 pesos incident he didn't reacted nor complained.
In the tip he will just make a tip box just to be sure both of them benefits in the tip. He clearly see how the two workers do their job and how they react and counter react to the owner's decision's.

The Skilled and not skilled

It started when the owner was looking for a skilled carwash boy for his shop.Let's name it as sandoman. He came from a different carwash.When both of them was in the shop.He looked and observe first.He then ask about the tip.The owner answered it is centralized but I also get a tip if I do the cleaning since I also love to clean cars.He even said to the owner that "your people looked already tired."
Next week he already started to work with thinman.He was fast in cleaning cars, always active and likes to speak a lot.

As the days passesby sandoman changed showing his real side.He was always outside the shop talking to other people and was sleeping.Thinman was more on being influenced by Rhey but sometimes doesn't speak to Rhey.Both of them sometimes argue while cleaning a car.

Big Incident happened

The owner was about to wash his hands and went to get soap in the cabinet.He suprised he saw the toothbrush was already gone almost all of it was gone.The only thing left was 4 colgate toothbrush.Both of the workers got mad but the owner explained to them that I showed it to you last saturday so that we will be ready for monday in interior detailing.

Changing Statements

It happened when the owner asked from Sandoman "Is there a tip?"Sandoman answered "there was no tip".Then he asked Thinman he answered "sir it was just 5 pesos".Then another tip incident happened.The owner said to Thinman "There was a 20 pesos tip get it from Sandoman".Then Thinman went to Sandoman and just said "It was only 10 pesos.Sandoman then cameback to the owner and said "sir it was just 10 pesos.Then Sandoman quickly went to the owner defending like there is no tomorrow.Thinman just said to the owner "He said it was only 10 pesos".

Playing with the owner

The two workers played with the owner one day like the car was needed to be backed up so Sandoman told the owner about it.After awhile the Thinman said it again and Sandoman said it again. The owner got angry and said "I heard it three times so you don't need to say it again and again".The two were quiet already.
One day the owner was talking to his dad over the cellphone.Sandoman was answering like he is the one talking to the owner's dad.The owner just said "Sandoman I'm not talking to you.I'm speaking to my dad so don't butt in and just shut up".

Discussions

There was a meeting both of them said what they feel.They said there are some words that they got hurt.Sandoman said he was a sensitive person while Thinman just added
At the end of the meeting Sandoman said "We can change our behavior if you want sir".Then the owner said "This meeting is done since you already admitted you can do that".

Observations

The owner's observations from Sandoman yes he is active and full of energy sometimes that full of energy becomes too much for clients and from the owner itself.
Sandoman is also shouting in the shop like he is the owner of the shop or in a market place.
Thinman is afraid to Rhey and doesn't speak that much.He only speaks when needed.

Traffic Light that Turns Green to a Sudden Stop

I was going to Quezon City the other day.It was monday since the family van is coding I have to use the small car.When I was under this sky way I was running around 60 kph the vehicle in front of me was a Blue Ford Escape.He speed up more and left me by one small car.I saw the traffic light it was green as soon as I pass the intersection I saw yellow then becomes immediately red.

Here comes the flag down. He was quite young for his age to be a traffic enforcer. He told me I was beating the red light.I answered "it was still green I can't suddenly brake if I'm running around 60kph that would be dangerous." He told me I should run around 40kph on that round.I answered again "sir for a car nor a motorcycle 40kph is way too slow on this road"
He said it is reckless already and that will be 2,500 and a seminar in Makati.It later came into my mind that my car is just a small car and it shows a vehicle discrimination because the one in front of me was an SUV and he didn't even bother to flag him down.I even remembered my SUV I didn't even have any flag downs in it.
My friend of mine happened the same thing he even saw it is yellow.He got caught in Makati and got a ticket which he was pissed off.
I know there is timers in this traffic light.Some of them are way too fast to change from green,yellow and red traffic light.I can even call it scheme for the traffic enforcers just because they also have a comission and a quota doesn't mean they should be that desperate in flagging someone down just to get a comission.If you can see there are tons they can flag down only if they look closely at the motorcycles around the metro.If he is serious and strict in traffic rules why not flag down motorcycles as well.Take a look at those side mirrors of them see if they can still see a vehicle in it.
If you happen to drive in the former Rene Saguisag accident be careful those enforcers just want comission in flagging down which I believe just want your money as well.

Hidden Schemes in Buy and Sell

Once we start selling our vehicles either to upgrade for a new vehicle or just sell our vehicle we often see or someone calls and give the price immediately without seeing the vehicle first.

My experience
I'm selling this SUV of mine one day and here comes the buyer.We ask first on the phone if he is a direct buyer and said yes I'm a direct buyer.When he went to see the vehicle he has an agent but denies he has an agent and a buy and sell but from what I am seeing the other is really an agent disguising as the driver.The agent and the so called buyer goes and look at the vehicle.The agent kepts on commenting like this and like that at the end of the day the price he mentioned is lower that I'm selling the vehicle so low you can buy a 2nd hand vios already.
When we decided to this buy and sell the price he wanted.I heard from the buy and sell "He will just rewind that odometer".
The agent disguising as the driver said to us "If someone text you don't say it is already sold" which from what I understand.This is a centralized buy and sell business.

How they buy it and sell it again
This is some of my observations and feedbacks I've gotten from other people

How they buy it from you
Once they see a for sale vehicle the agent will take a look at it first.Then immediately contact his financer to see if he will like the vehicle.The financer and his agent will go and negotiate the price to make it lower.He will even say to you that this is now the price of your vehicle.He will even lower the price further if he sees something wrong or even a small dent or accident of the vehicle. Once you have decided to their price they will get it and this is what will they do to the vehicle.

Rewind the odometer - We often ask this if the odometer has been rewind but little do we know in a slightly used vehicle like a hot car they still rewind it just to gain more money from it.

Washover the vehicle or detail it - they do this just to make the vehicle presentable.

Hide it as much as possible - they hide the problems of the vehicle as much as possible like hiding major accidents, rust underneath those washover paint so once you buy it you will see it sooner than you think,suspension problems,leaks in the engine and other things you will see just to say to you it is a well maintained vehicle.

Agent - they will sell it the same way they buy a vehicle.If they have a place for for sale vehicles they will sell it there. Their agent has a comission on every vehicle they have found or have sold.

My advice
If you are getting a vehicle here are some of my tips to you.

Better check it thoroughly inside and out - Sometimes they do present it way too clean and you have to check it thoroughly because they might hide something in it like if their is a problem in the engine or rust.
Test drive it - This is to know if there is a problem in the suspension or had a major accident.
Request for lifting the vehicle - This is to see if there is some leak or
Have a mechanic - This is to show how serious you are and how many problems the engine is.
Tag a long a friend - It is better if you tag a long a friend especially if he knows a specific car.

It is better post your vehicle in different forums with the plate number and photos of your sold vehicle to avoid those people rewinding the odometer to protect also people from buying it and being cheated as well.We know it is a business for some people but sometimes we never realize we are already cheating a person/s.People who are selling their own vehicles even put that it is for direct buyers only which we have to follow and respect it no matter what.

The Worker Who Wants to be the Owner
The Abuse of a Worker

People nowadays are having a hard time to find work since the economic crisis started and money is needed in everyday life to survive.This shop owner started out to look for a worker for his carwash business.The owner is very kind and not strict. He even level himself to his workers to establish trust and be loyal to the shop.He then interviewed the worker he found out he is married and has a son.The owner said if you are going to be absent say it the day before or text the other worker so that we can have a back up just in case.The worker is working before in a gas station in Alabang and in President's Ave in BF Homes Paranque. He was kind at first and was really working hard.He is always on time and even if its already past 6pm he is still working and help his fellow worker to clean the vehicle.He also suggest what is right and wrong.He organize the things he use in the shop.The worker has a salary with comission of 20%. The owner and his workers were both happy and contented.
The owner then decided to remove one of his workers since he only need is 2 workers that knows carwash and detailing one carwash and one detailer.

Getting Worse

Few weeks came this worker started to became late every monday he is absent. He only works only until 6pm.There was even a time he adjust the time in the shop just to go home early.He kept ordering his fellow co worker around like do this do that. He also left things where he want it to be like a bottle of softdrinks once it is empty he just leaves it there like no one cares. One day the owner wanted to help to clean a vehicle but this worker said to the owner in a manner of "parinig" "I want you to sit and you are not sitting in the office". He also kept comments like "don't give the price that low".
Recently the vacuum got broken he commented to the owner which is more like an order that it would get fix immediately and bring it back in the shop as soon as possible. The owner just answered it is impossible to get it done immediately because the parts is not yet available.
After two months since the other worker is absent the owner told his two month old worker to go to a xerox copier to give out flyers in the parking lot to promote the shop. When the worker came back he just gave the owner the xerox copies which he didn't give out in the parking lot and said to the owner "I have to go home now" which it was just around 11am. He just said that he is needed at home but as his explain it to the owner he was having a hard time to say it.

What the Owner Did
Little does the worker know the owner is just quiet because he is observing him.The owner is already thinking this worker is abusing and taking advantage of the shop.He then called up his friends to let them know about it.His friend suggested that find another one because your other worker might get influenced if not get pissed off because of your current worker.The owner followed what his friends suggested. Now he is now looking for another worker to replace the worsening worker.If you happen to encounter this kind of person I suggest avoid him.

A Battle for One True Love
High School Love, College Love and Future Wife

We all have our own situation in love from our first love, best love and our future love ones. Here is my own story of love since High School until this day.

How the Love Started
It started way back in High School I was just having a typical day going to school and then after school go back home then finish some homework or just chill in the house. It was the first day of school and everything is new to me the only difference is it’s my first time to be in a star section. We were then arranged in boy and girl seats to avoid getting noisy in school. We were waiting for the next teacher to come until this seatmate of mine started talking to me. She was saying “hi” and “what are you doing” so I answered “I am just drawing cars”.
After a couple of months it was recess I was going down to eat and I remember I left my bag open when I came back it was closed. I then opened it then saw a letter which I got surprised saying
“Wala kami ni Arthur
D”
When one subject was over one of my classmates approached me. He then asked Dianne if she wrote the letter but she declined and said I never wrote that letter right in front of me. She even went back to her seat I never knew really her penmanship before. My classmate just told me that she wrote it. It was only until later that same year 1998 she knew I was in love with her. The whole class knew it and was teasing us. One day came she told me that she doesn’t want to have someone right now because she had a very bad experience. I felt sad from what she said because I never fallen for someone before. She then change her ways like not talking to me anymore and couldn’t sit next to me anymore. We were still paired in 3rd year field demo and even in the graduation ceremony.

A Memorable 18th birthday
When her 18th birthday came it was my first time to go on such occasion I gave her a gift from the money I saved from my allowance. Even though I wasn’t invited I still came. My classmates said to me I should go over to her 18th birthday. It was fun I remember the old Dianne I used to know. The one who starts talking to me even I am quiet at times. It was a memorable 18th birthday seeing her smile from afar was the best days in my High School life. She introduced me to her cousin which is named Kevin as well.

College Came
When college came I became sad since I’m not going to see her anymore in college. It is way impossible for me to know where she is and what school she is going. As I was about to go the comfort room, I saw someone as I go near I saw her I even said to myself “what is she doing here?” I later found out that her classroom she is in was just beside mine. I only see her once and awhile. Some of my classmates asked me “what’s the best thing you really like about Dianne?” I answered them was just simple. “When I see her she is everything already I’ve ever dream of”. When my birthday came I had a common friend who knows her. I then told her that invite Dianne so that we can talk but when she came back she told me that Dianne already went home.

After College
When 2006 came I was in school to follow up the documents I need for graduation my classmate texted me saying that Dianna was in his condo. When I saw her she was with someone and another classmate of hers. I told everyone there that I am changing my last name. I even let everyone see I am carrying her graduation photo in my wallet. When Dianne left and her boyfriend I told his other friend that I really love her and she was my first love in High School. I was about to go down the condo when I heard someone arguing. It was Dianne and her boyfriend arguing about the graduation photo that I have in my bag. When it was 2009 my classmate in college gave me her yahoo account. I was happy it was like winning in a lottery. We then chatted but she was shy. I then told her I miss her. She told me she is already in the U.S in North California. I felt sad because now I know her yahoo account but she is already in the U.S. I also found out from my high school classmate that before Dianne left in the United States she had a boyfriend but left her with some other girl.

The Proposal
After knowing she is already in North California I was really about to give up but since I am into cars and love racing I had an idea to put the word “Will You Marry me Dianna Llanera” in the back of my race car once it is finished. I hope she sees it personally or maybe her friends and family can see it. I’ll be joining car shows as well to show it. She really changed my life since High School. The purpose was just to let her know that how many obstacles came from High School until this day my mind is set on one thing alone and that is I’m still in love with her. If she would ask how much I’m in love with her it is already been proven and done.

We all know forums are more informative and will help you especially if you need suggestions in your build or problems in your vehicle.A car club forum is usually we go and visit online.I ask something online a couple of weeks ago.Its a popular car club in the Philippines.They have a total members of over 23,000 in their forum.I created a thread asking about a certain axle for my vehicle.Some answered my question which was great.Then someone from that popular car club forum called me baller.His exact words is "5.9 FTW baller ehehehe".
I also found out that the one who called baller is also a bonafide member of that club and have been very active in the boards.I still wonder up to what happened to the rules the club they made in the board like

"Comments that contain anything rude, racist, disrespectful, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, profane, pornographic, racially or ethnically offensive will be removed, upon the moderator's discretion."

I remember posting something in their forum saying something about politics they immediately erased it and I just let it go.I was waiting for them to erase or a least warn the person but still nothing happened. I find it bias. It maybe just a small amount of conflict but like my dad used to say a small amount can be huge once you collect it each and every little part of it.We all should be careful on this kind of a forum.We don't know them personally and haven't met that person.Respect should always comes into our mind since we are all educated.This kind of situation can happen to anyone and could lead to discrimination of a fellow nationality. Others just slide it because they are afraid on saying it.If you happen to encounter this kind of situation don't be afraid to tell your side of the story.

Each and everyday we use our vehicles to go to work,gimik at night or on our way home when all of a sudden our car breakdown in the middle of the road.At first we try to see and or fix the problem.After awhile some bystander will help you or some other passing vehicle will help you.Since we do not know that mechanic very well we go to our nearby repair shop.They replace it but if we are not in a hurry we do canvass first in a different shop just try to save a few pesos.

Looking for that engine mount
Lets take a good example the car I am setting up.I need an engine mount for the swap and I am going to buy.In online it is being sold around $ 600-649.Their is even someone selling it around $ 525.I call someone up a specialist in Honda from a very high and far place in rizal.It is by order and they are selling it around 40,000 pesos which when you convert it it is already a whopping $ 860 which includes shipping and handling.I tried going to a different shop this time in the south.It is also by order it will depend on the peso-dollar which is better if you ask me.

The Risk
If you don't know the shop or you haven't bought anything yet from them you'd might get cheated.It is better if you tag along a friend who knows if its the right one and an original one.So you see how canvassing first can help you save money.Profit is part of the business but in some cases finding someone in a lower prices still has a profit.Sometimes you need a friend who knows the shop owner to help you lower the price as well.If you are still not yet sure on what you are going to buy better buy it online where they are selling it whole sale or have a friend who is located in that region to buy it for you and shipped it here to avoid being cheated.

Some Things I Observe and Found Out

We have seen more and more people are using motorcycle as a mode of transportation.We all know it is because of the rising fuel cost and would make delivery of documents or some items faster.Some of the advantages is maintenance is cheap,fuel is enough for the budget and it is faster from point A to point B.

Modifying the Motorcycle
I am not against modifying the motorcycle because we all love racing and making it fast but the rider shouldn't mount his/her plate on the muffler side because it can scratch off some other vehicles.They shouldn't change their tail light into colored blue,white, a single contact or not have a brake light at all.Since they are small any vehicle can't tell if the rider is braking or not.They shouldn't change the fork of the motorcycle.This tends the removal or making the side mirror smaller just to show it to his other friends. Yes side mirrors destroy aerodynamics but it is for their safety as well.

Accidents involving a rider
In television almost everyday there is a motorcycle involving in an accident from a private vehicle to a public transportation most of who is at fault involving a motorcycle accident is the driver of a motoring vehicle.Sometimes I find it hard to believe that it is the vehicle driver is at fault. There is even a situation that mostly happen they say is "who came first on that lane".This is the reason why most of the drivers is at fault.Another example is involving a truck.A truck as we all know is huge and it is difficult for the driver to tell if there is a motorcycle or even a car near him.Another reason is cutting.Most of the riders cut other vehicles where when they miscalculate they will automatically blame the driver of a vehicle for not avoiding them.If the rider is at fault in an accident.Sometimes the rider won't pay the cager and would just give excuses like "I have no money","This is all the money I have in my wallet","it is your fault not mine" and would ended up arguing for hours until the driver gives up.Another is they tend to escape the accident just to avoid payment the damage they have made.

Wrong doings of a rider
Some of the things I observe while on the road is the rider does
1. Short cut on the humps which they do is instead of going through the humps they avoid it by going either to the far right or far left of the humps just to do some "bangking".I find this wrong because the cager or any vehicle driver can get suprised.
2. First in line while on red traffic light I've seen this most of the time were the vehicle is on the first in the line then all of a sudden a rider comes along to overtake it.I find it wrong because the one who is at front is the one who is first in the line.The rider should fall inline.
3. Cutting is dangerous especially in a motorcycle because once you make a mistake you can get injuried or it can be fatal.I've seen most of the motorcycle rider cut in other vehicles on the road like there is no tomorrow especially while traffic is moving or slowly moving.
4. Not keeping in distance. Riders most often do is pressure the vehicle by not keeping in the correct distance.This is what the riders do especially while in traffic.
5. Failure of road courtesy. This is what a driver and a motorcycle are involved in an accident.They fail to give way. Motorcycle does not have an airbag.Both the rider and a driver should know that.
6. Counterflowing I often see this if there is no center island on a street.They do counterflow which the driver or an incoming vehicle will avoid instead of a motorcycle should avoid since they are the ones counterflowing the lane.

Again a motorcycle is fast and light.We all have to give way sometimes.Unless it is a emergency.I find some riders aggressive like they are high on drugs.I don't really know why they kept doing wrong things on the road.Aren't they afraid of losing their life? Do they need more discipline? I respect more people riding a big bike not just because a big bike is big enough to see on public road but they know what is right and wrong.In the end we can't compare everything to a motorcycle and a car but we have to say cool and have discipline follow the rules while on public road.As far as a rider they should be more careful using their bikes because like they say it is just an underbone.

In business we all want to make something different in our shop to be known and have more customers or clients.We want to have or carry our own products as much as we want too.I came to see this product online and that is not available here in the Philippines.I quickly emailed them and I was asking a price list and a list of products they have.I received an answer quickly saying they have a distributor here.I emailed them again saying I just said to them"I thought that if I email you I can also be a distributor just like them. Can you give me a list of prices and products just to compare their prices to yours?"The answer"If you contact them, they will get you the prices. Our dealer prices vary based on the dealer level.You will save a ton of shipping costs by working with them. They are about to finalize an order, so it would be best if you contacted them ASAP."I went there to ask the prices but I'm not alone but they didn't gave me a price list.It was only recently I got an email from them.Although he didn't gave me the list of prices and products.He said that will depict on foreign exchange rate.We know there are guidelines or requirements like filling up a dealer application and there is minimum quantity & amount of their product which prices may range from $1,000 to $10,000 (or more) initial buy-in. In the U.S based companies & manufacturers requires you to have a Business License and a Business Bank account for you to qualify.Some are also picky if you want to be an authorized dealer and require you to have a big space for you to display and store their products.As far as the email I felt disappointed when I saw on the dealer list on there website a certain state that has two or more dealers. So if we compare it here in the Philippines it should be just the same which anyone or any shop can be a dealer.

We all have seen this word looking for in every forum we visit.I tried it one day and see if someone can help me.So I tried posting in other forums.I even put my cell number and landline just for them to know I am serious about what I am looking for.The next day came and I received replies in some forum. I was suprised to see several replies.Some helped me which I thanked them for it some just posted

If I remember when I was just walking by in Ortigas I heard some group laughing and saying "hey that is the guy looking for something online".I just ignored them.
We all know we can't please everyone especially online but sometimes we have to respect what he or she is looking for.We don't see them person or know them personally as well.Comments like those above won't help.It will be just even make it worst and would even called discrimination of the person.Why not just answer the question or text or call that person that is why the board is looking for.It is for people looking for something looking for comments.

My two friends went to one of the popular shop in Quezon City Ave. This shop is well known in Quezon City and you won’t miss it. They do set up and the shop is complete of equipments and parts. His other friend wanted to install a lowering springs so while waiting he interviewed one of the owners of this popular shop while his other friend watch his car. He heard good feedbacks of the shop that’s why they went there. They talked about a certain guy who is asking about a compression test. The owner was kind at first but one situation made the behavior of this popular shop changed he said to him "that car is already one year old in that other shop and he doesn't even know a compression test."
Little does this owner know that he is already offending the friend’s client which they were talking about him who was simply at home and was sick. He then called up his friend and said it was an offensive remark. He also recommends this shop before but from this incident he is currently changing his mind.
When I heard about this incident I was surprised that the part owner said that. Just because he is just a filipino and the owner is a foreigner without even saying "no offense if you know him." He can easily say something like that. I don't think that is right. It seems this popular shop in Quezon City wants to backstab every person who wants to ask something about cars or set up in a certain forum. We can never tell if this part shop owner has already said it to several people like his friends, relatives and other contacts which could add more to the incident.
We all have to say something but not to a point we are already offending someone especially if he or she is not there. What if you are in that situation? I don't think I can say something like that to anyone. I too can get offended by the remarks said by this part shop owner who owns a popular shop in Quezon City. If you're thinking about the exact name of the shop well guess again you're right.

Two Friends,A Girl and his 125cc Borrowed Motorcycle.

There were this two friends named Jun and Ken. Ken who doesn't go out that much inside the village while Jun who often hang out with his friends met a girl in a street in Alabang. The girl was named Misty. Jun told Ken that he doesn't like the girl. So he decided to purse Misty. A couple of weeks he then introduced his other friends to Ken while they are hanging out in his friends’ house. Ken started to hang out with the friends of Jun at Rea’s house Jerry’s girlfriend until in the middle of the night. One is even a member of an apo hiking society. The three became good friends. They even hang out just the three of them every night near the house of Ken and sometimes in the house of Jun. They even cut classes and go to a mall just to watch a movie with Jun’s friends. Ken even teach Jun how to drive and race.

One time Jun challenged Ken to play one on one basketball Ken doesn’t completely know how to play basketball. Jun gave some handicapped to Ken. After awhile Ken won which Jun couldn't believe and he wanted to challenge Ken again and kept on saying "let's play again come on" again and again

Little does Ken know Jun and Misty is mysteriously seeing each other. They even had sex in a SUV of Ken’s vehicle while cars pass by. Ken even went to the house of the girl to say to his parents that Misty is cutting classes and is with Jun.

Jun got angry and went to the house of Ken with the friends. Then there is the he said she said like Jun said something that he didn’t said while Misty was just like playing along which ended up Ken losing the argument because of Juns’ friend’s domination. Later they became enemies and Ken taught the friends he has and Jun is not a real friend instead was just a user.

Jun one day went near the house of Ken and was showing off his 125cc Honda Motorcycle. While Ken was there Jun said “Let’s drag race just the three of us. Ken didn’t say anything and was just quiet like he heard nothing at all.Ken later knew that Jun’s motorcycle was just borrowed from one of his friends.
Little does Jun know Ken is already doing something to his car that Jun doesn’t know about.

We've known motoring journalist do is they test drive different vehicles to see how it handles, quality of the vehicle and fuel economy. They also become media partners in car shows and car events, attend new vehicle releases and even go out abroad to test drive a vehicle.
As the population grows business here in the Philippines starts to grow as well. Plus more and more shops today are being created most popular as of now is carwash and auto-detailing second is sound set up and third is performance. Others are all pack into one shop.

What is a shop journalist?
A shop journalist is a journalist who does straight talk and supports shop who does good work and being honest to their clients. They do a research, interview the shop owner and look for feedbacks on a particular shop. It is like getting to know a car as well. It will help people from getting to know a shop and the behavior of an owner shop and his people on a client.

My Experience Being Cheated
I've experience being cheated as well. It was a couple of years ago. I bought this peanut bulb at banawe Quezon City it says its colored amber. I even ask if its amber. They answered "yes sir it is amber". I had it installed. When night came I saw it was not amber it’s even colored yellow. This is just one of a couple of experience I was cheated by a shop. I too became frustrated because of this kind of shop. It is also no wonder why some people wanted to do DIY (Do It Yourself) or build their own shop.

Business Is Business
This is what most of us say and even our friends’ say to us but you don't have to do cheating just to get more money. What’s wrong in being honest? You can be honest and that honesty will be given back to you.

A Feedback Is a Feedback
This is what set a good shop and a bad shop apart. It may sound like a gossip but it is written all over the internet. It is an unending feedback. Even in the internet forums you will see people posting that they have been cheated by a shop or asking about a particular shop. They even often get pissed off and frustrated which they have to go back and forth to the shop or just transfer it to a different shop. It will also the same time help the good shop especially if you have done good work to your client. As far as the bad shop goes it affects the good shop’s reputation around the metro.

Government
We can't blame them on this one because they all have other things to do. It’s not like they are useless. It will just take years and from those years your complaint might be able to be forgotten. It may not be even be a priority to them but I still believe they will still listen and once they do shops will be aware that they have to do the right thing.

Motoring journalists have their part in the motoring scene but this what sets apart of motoring journalist and a shop journalist. Even in other clubs in the internet hasn't done what we are doing. We don't have to be afraid to say something. We have to stand by our right as a client. We are not asking that there should be a perfect shop we just want good shop for people who wants to use their money where it it is supposed to be. This is our share not just to make ours different but to save people from what we call a "cheater shop owner".

I was waiting for the engine to arrive a couple of weeks ago. I got an idea why not write looking for on some of the clubs over the internet. I wrote about that I was looking for a Honda engine one day using the internet. Since most of us today are using it to make our lives easier. I came across this forum. It was a typical online community. They have rides section, anything under the sun, and events in the board. They even have a selling section in the forum. After weeks of not going online I saw some replies. I quickly read it one person said “come here and get it.” I felt welcomed in the forum. As I browse more to read the other replies one handle said "Even until here" and the other is "they have one in the shop that is if you are going to get it." I was surprise of some of their replies because I was just simply looking for something. I also did post it on other club forums but they didn't have any side comments.I came to wonder why not just answer the question and will I put contact numbers if I am just faking. Yes they are answering it but why the side comments. I was just new in their forum.I know you have great cars and friends as well in the business and even in different motorsports but avoid side comments it won't help. You're just giving a bad feedback on the one you are referring to me.

We all have our good and bad days from work, races, sports and many others. It was a good day when I woke up.I was excited to go to the shop.I started to put the things I need in the SUV like the television, electric fan, food, water, extra t-shirt and a book that I can record how many customers I'll be having.
I arrived at around 9am.The water delivery wasn't there and I asked my carwash boy if they had already filled up the water but they didn't. They should have filled it up at 8am.I then call them up and have the water delivered. Before that day I already told them to have the water delivered by 8am since we don't have water anymore.

After a few minutes the water delivery trunk arrived. They park in between the canteen and a Japanese restaurant. I saw them preparing to fill up the tanks of the canteen. I was surprised. I then ask the water delivery if they were the first to call guess what he said
"They needed water to have there dishes washed."
He even added
"We will comeback to fill up your water."
After 30 minutes they arrived still they continue to fill up the tank of the canteen. Then a few minutes more they finally had our shop fill up with water.

In this case I really didn't like what the water delivery did to me and what he said to me. Even the canteen didn't even bother to care or even at least say something like "let them fill up first the shop since they are the first one to order."

Before this while the shop is being constructed last May they even park their delivery car in front of the shop while construction is being done. Another is one of our construction workers was bitten by their dog and was hospitalized still they didn't care.
We all have to give sometime but with an extent not to bother anyone. It doesn't matter if you are new or old in the place. I think they are not just "ningas cugon" but more like "tigas cugon."

JDM Parts Where Are You

We've known Banawe Quezon City is known for car parts and accessories. Even surplus parts for your vehicle you can easily find there. Enter the car heaven either the old or new Banawe and someone will approach you like you are ordering in a fast food chain. My friend and I went on to Binondo to visit a shop there. He is going to buy a motor oil for there family vehicle SUV. He told me that the shop is also a distributor of Japanese motor oils and other JDM parts in Banawe. The shop is like your typical shop. The look of the shop is quite old and seems never even undergo renovation. The display looks old. There are parts displayed like spark plugs, oils, headlight bulbs and many more. The people are nice to talk too and friendly as well.

Something Missing

After my friend bought something from the shop, I quickly notice that there are no display of the things he said to me like Bride Seats, Tein and other aftermarket parts. All I saw was tons of stickers like Tein, Bride and other stickers on the window which you couldn't even see what is on display anymore.

Overall

Parking is not difficult although you need to walk just about a block or so just to buy something in the shop. I still find the shop different because I saw that the shop is selling a Japanese Motor Oil which I haven't seen in other shops even here in Alabang.

We all know selling vehicles is one thing we do in order for us to get another car or what we call an upgrade. There is even swapping of cars sometimes. We do the usual like checking the papers, check the engine, check both the interior and exterior and many others.This owner is selling his car at around 50k.The reason why he is selling it is because he has no more parking in the garage. He even parked the car outside the neighbor’s house. The car is an economy car that you can drive around the metro. The owner was honest and stated that the body needs to be repaired. The car was recently overhauled and was running in good condition. The interested buyer then saw it. Then they had a deal of the price to lower it since he will need to body repair the whole car. The owner then said "ok no problem" and after a couple of weeks he went on to buy the car. The next owner never said anything once the car was with him. The former owner was sad and at the same time happy because now he can focus on his new car.
After a couple of months the former owner was surprised because he got a message from the next owner saying that he has no more money and will be returning it as soon as the body is finish being repaired.He then returned the vehicle. When the former owner saw it, the body was already fix but it was not completely finished and some problems the former owner never had before like the car was not running in good condition at all. He tried starting it but the car wouldn't start anymore.The former owner was disappointed to the next owner of the car because he now needs to fix this vehicle which he couldn’t image until now.I came to wonder what if the former owner has no money as well. What if the former owner got already a newer car and he can't deal with two cars at the same time? The former owner cannot return his new vehicle like the one the next owner did.The deal is already been set and the contract as well. I myself would not appreciate that the next owner would say to me he has no more money after the entire car has been through and even had the body repaired.
If I was the owner I would just let the next owner to have a different deal like help him sell the vehicle again or have it advertise on a newspaper.Another is display it in a shop that is interested in selling vehicles. In this way everything will be fair and more reasonable for both sides.

We have been noticing on Edsa the terminal buses and bus lanes which mostly get confused especially if we are just new on the road. There is even pink fences that we couldn't see a night.There is even U-turn slots with a combination of a concrete barrier.
Most of these improvement seem likely to be accident prone especially not making these visible to the vehicles going through that particular road.Those concrete barriers and dividing the road for bus and private vehicles which could lead to accidents.
Now there is an upcoming U-turn flyover in C5 which will be another accident prone especially for those "lingon type motorcycles" because they will do those bungking at high speed like the ones in MotoGP.The construction of these kind of flyover is very expensive.There will definitely be traffic if these U-turn flyover will be finished.
I wonder what is this guy thinking.If I where him I would just
Improve the road in different places.
Remove those accident prone barriers,fences and dividers.
Well lighted signs
Well lighted streets
Flag down those motorcycle with "lingon type"
Flag down no helmets
Flag down not turning on the headlights
Flag down plate numbers mounted on the right or left side of their motorcycle which can cause to scratch other vehicles on the road.
Trucks that has no tail lights during the night or day
Retain U-turn slots only if the road is wide enough.
Have those ilegally built houses to be removed but will be transferred to a better one

It will help a lot and those quota that their employees needed will definitely be able to reach.Some of the projects are good like those terminal buses that has to have their own u-turn for their long buses.

Writing articles in some cases is a hobby for some people.In being a motoring journalist is different from what we are doing. We write because we want to protect and save people from cheater shop owner. We also want to protect good shop owners who has been in the industry for years now.It will also to help clients to avoid shops that does take advantage of you because you have money. It will also help clients who are looking for a shop that needs their vehicle to be repaired.

We all have to be honest whether its good or bad.We all have to contribute in some ways some people do good work others just want your money.Making a mistake can be fixed but cheating the client is a different story.You can see it for yourself in the other internet forums some people recommend this some people don't recommend this.In motoring there is straight talk which we also do.

Surplus Engines at its best and worst

We all love the B series engines B16, B18c, B20 & H22. The parts are easy to find. B20 became the fastest all motor with the time of 10.2 sec. B18 turbo ran the fastest in Cebu with the time of 9.88sec. Today 2008 I’ve seen more and more are getting the k20a Type R. From Fit, FD, EG & Ek. Some of the specifications of the k20a engine. It has 6 speed manual transmission. Power output is 190hp at 8,000rpm that is just stock ECU. Some of the cars with the k20a engine onboard are the DC5 & EP3.
Experiences
I first went to a shop in Las Pinas It is a good shop. I saw the k20a although it was too dark for me to see the embedded of the engine. They said it came from a civic. One of the employees also warned me about getting one from other people who are selling k20a engine. She said that I have to look first what is embedded in the transmission and in the head second check the whole engine if it’s complete and tax paid.The next one he is selling different engines, parts etc. When I arrived with the team I saw that he has a complete k20a engine. One of my teammates said “get that one now”. The complete one has everything you needed including disc brakes. It’s even straight PRC. I later found out its already sold. Then I looked at the other stocks he has. I found out the embedded portion of the engine is PRC. The sticker is PRC but when I looked at the transmission it’s PRB. The head is even leaking oil already which from what I saw needed to replace a head gasket.Lastly I went to banawe to look for a k20a engine.There is a shop who sells engine unfortunately you have to order it first. During the time I went there I saw a k20a but it was sold already. I saw it came from DC5 I look for the embedded it is PRC but when I look at the transmission the sticker is gone but the transmission code is there.

Half cut
This is what mostly your friends would say to you. The advantage is there a lot of freebies you might get like the seats, the whole 4 brakes, wiring almost everything you need. The disadvantage is it will be difficult for you to transport it unless you have a truck for it to be brought to your friendly neighborhood shop. Papers sometimes may take sometime. Some of which doesn’t have one.It is quite difficult to find one here in metro manila. You can only get one at Cebu which they say is not strict when it comes to selling half cut.The selling of k20a today is around 190k-250k which includes ECU, transmission, harness and axle.

Disadvantage on buying just the engine
Some who are selling k20a or any engine doesn’t include all unless you say it to them. They would tend sometime to cheat you. Some of the disadvantages are LSD is not included, wiring, brakes, shift cable, shift box the black circle one near the valve cover.

Some of the rules
Some who are selling them are as is where is rule which means if there is something broken in the engine he can’t replace it but he will only replace electronic parts like the ECU. It would still depend on the deal between you and the seller of the engine.

Some of the problems
Some of the parts are not yet available here in the Philippines. Aftermarket parts are quite rare.The transmission is used by a cable which once you mis shift the transmission might easily be broken. You need to buy and order a Hasport engine mount for the k20a in the U.S.

You might still end up buying just the engine. It’s difficult to find one right now unless you really wanted it so.Better have a higher budget on this one because its an expensive engine and its a surplus engine. You can't really tell if some of the parts are still intact and working. If you are getting just the engine get the fresh one and not being build here. The papers and tax also needed to be checked. It doesn’t matter if you are getting just the engine or the half cut. It’s a mere of being careful on getting one especially if you don’t know the person who is selling this kind of engine.

We often see vehicles like pajeros, delica, odyessy and many others carrying the plates of Y,R, X or B and we often say “hey a converted car”. Here is a shop in Evangelista that sells engines, surplus parts and cars. Their name came from a popular anime. The cars they are selling Ek hatches, starlets and other vehicles that are converted. He said that there is a scheme which he later discovered that is getting parts and then build a vehicle just by welding it together. Then sell it to people. From the look it looks nice the body is shiny, has a clean interior but underneath those carpets it is just welded. They will also convince you to buy it and even have some of his friends convinced you in buying that vehicle. It will then lead you to buy it. Yes the papers are clean but you will soon discover that the conversion is messy, has no air-con and most of all you will see that the flooring is just welded together.
According to him a lot of people have been victimized by this shop. He also gets parts there before He shared this scheme because he couldn’t take it anymore and was concerned for the people who are getting vehicles from this shop. So once you buy a converted vehicle just beware of some shops like this one and the problems in the long run. Better buy a vehicle who sells vehicles and it is recommended by your good friends. Do a research or at least have a mechanic to see the car or vehicle you are buying is really good.

We all started by browsing through the internet like sports, current events and cars. Then came forums then we started to be interested by reading and posting on a thread. There are rules we have to follow some of which is not followed but some are just a small thing someone can violate. We may hear from some people who have been there for a long time heard someone gave warnings or even ban a person. Administrators have powers while moderators have powers only its limited we all have to agree on that but some just use their powers and others do the right thing.
Taken by an example of a proud writer on a forum a car enthusiast just like us and loves his job. He also offered something to make the forum more interesting but as they said they don’t want it. He continues to write even though there are problems like not giving gas, salary nor allowance from what he is doing. He continues to help to promote the forum like giving contacts to other people but the owner is just seen sometimes during E.B and rarely seen in the forum. In short the writer does everything. The administrator doesn’t even know cars. He just continue to put ads just for the sake to be more known, more traffic rather than be known as a forum of test drive vehicles. To add more they even hired a new one.
The second is just a person who just posts in the forum. He is a loyal former just like the writer. He then encountered a forumer who said something that clearly violates the rules of the forum. He then contacted the administrator. The administrator just said “I’ll look into it”. Then after a few days the administrator answered “I have to investigate into it and you have to show me what he said”. The forumer gave all the information the administrator wanted. After a few days still nothing happened to the violator. It even went onto weeks. These are just a few of probably the thousand we might not know who violates in a forum. We all know the rules are meant to be followed but for some gets away with it and some abused it because of power.

Do you believe that the newer the cars the greater the defects that will appear?
We all know that it is better to have brand new vehicles but based on experience it is getting difficult to maintain than the cars 1998 below. We even heard recalls and other bad experience from casa. Small defects that you may think it’s just an isolated case but it’s still a defect.

It started when we bought a Japanese vehicle. During that time we never had defects on windows, tires, rims and the whole car itself, Then we bought a Korean vehicle. It had defects like the car every time I shift to second the car slowly goes slow until the whole car shuts down. The rims have a damage portion. It needs to reprogram the ECU just to save more on gas.
Then another korean vehicle. Bought in casa to fix the stereo and went back to get it while waiting they fix the window because pulling up and down the window on the driver side gets harder and harder. Muffler gets rusted just only after 2 years of using it.
American vehicles has also some defects that you couldn't imagine why they have it.
If you are going to see the new vehicles yes they look great handles well, great features but the quality seems forgotten. It is not Japanese cars are better than the other it’s the quality. That’s why they bought brand new vehicles because they believe the newer vehicles the less it prone to defects. Until today I heard that Japanese vehicles has now defects like in the window which is hard to pull up and down. In the end we all still love new cars because it’s not just new but because it will save us more gas and less prone in going to shops.

We have experience getting cheated by other shops or doing some mistakes of some shops around the metro like in Banawe or at Evangelista. Here is an experience you can’t even imagine someone would sell to a customer.
I have this friend who bought his ek hatch just last year. His other friend saw it in a buy and sell. So they met and went to the location of the owner of the ek hatch. The owner owns a shop and a Filipino. They are the only ones selling ek hatch at Evangelista. They are selling engines and surplus parts. They even joined a drift event which is the Lateral D. He test drove the car around while his friend checks if the papers are ok. It was clean and no problems. The steering wheel has no problems. Next couple of days he went back to buy it. When he got home saw the 3 tires have a long line. He even went to Goodyear to vulcanize one tire and they said “Sir your tires might explode because of the long line it has in the tread.” He went back to the former owner of the vehicle to let them change the tires. So they did change it which was a good thing.
But it didn't stop there. Then he started to use it one day and drove it. He then reached more than 100 kph. He went right and left to over take a vehicle in the highway and to his surprise it automatically turned right(which he felt the steering wheel went from tight to loose) while he steered it to the left but to no response. Luckily he bumped to a private vehicle along the way and the steering wheel went to the left and bumped to the gutter of the bridge. He gradually was braking during that time and came to a full stop. He went to Pren’s to have it checked. He found out the rear disc brake was locked.
Now everytime he use it. He just reached the speedometer to 80kph not because of the brake that got locked but because of the bad conversion the owner of the shop made.
They even said that the car reached to Batangas which it has no aircon and has a long line in the tread of the tires.
Well as for me I can't believe a shop owner would do this. If I was a shop owner I would fix it because those people are customers or clients that you have to a good reputation or at least be honest with it. They would even go back to you and recommend your shop. The life and safety of the next owner is at stake here. What if he or she died? What if that person is your relative or maybe someone you know? Wouldn’t you be concerned?
If you are a seller and you have conscience you would fix it or at least be honest with it. You are one lucky person if you have a shop (which I dream of having one someday).
Well if you are going to buy parts. I think its ok but buying a vehicle from that shop better think twice.
To Those who are buying an converted vehicle to check the ff (This is from my observation)

1. Conversion – ask or request to them that you need to see if the rack and pinion is been replaced or just repaired.
2. If you can’t see the conversion or you won't notice it like someone did. Let them reach more than 100kph.Turn left and right during that certain speed and then brake suddenly.
3. Try turning the steering wheel
4. Papers like if its tax paid, LTO CR and OR
5. Chassis number and engine number – some are just tampered like it is scratched out you have to see the number clearly and it is well written in the wall in the engine.
